Me in My Kitchen

I’m a Mum, who loves to be a Mum.  I’m not a perfect Mum.  I’m a real Mum.  It’s just that I happen to have learnt and experienced a pile of stuff in my past that helped me to really love the sunny AND dark days of being a Mum.

Why the ‘Mummy Whisperer’?  Because, if I shouted, you wouldn’t be able to hear yourself, and I’m planning on showing as many Mums as possible how to listen to their own inner quiet wise voice.  I’m not going to tell you what to do, or offer more ‘one size fits all’ parenting techniques.  Instead, I will help you to feel more centered, and contented and therefore find your own answers.

I’ve translated what I’ve learnt before Mummyhood into a language and program that makes sense in a Mum’s life, with all her time and resource limitations.  So this is about Real Life Advice, for Real Life Mums, from a Real Life Mum.  Through this blog, I hope that you will find  comfort in discovering that all Mums have bad days, it’s just that some hide it, or you assume that some don’t.  Plus, that you can empower yourself to find the solutions yourself and not get swamped with hundreds of different baby/toddler/teen training systems, many of which are totally unsuitable to you and your family and situation.

If you would like more information about me as a Mum or my background, there are some more pages below this one (see the sidebar on the left hand side for a full list).  Plus I have marked some posts with the category of ‘About me’.
